Stamp Variation

is a different version or format in which a stamp was issued
(usually compared with the original single gummed sheet stamp)

The 12 main variations are:
Blocks, Strips & Pairs - Gutters - Image - Imperforate - Minisheets - Overprints
Paper - Perforation - Self-adhesive - Sheetlets - Size - Tabs

Variations are produced on purpose
