P-Stamps

Personalised Stamps or P-Stamps are stamps with a tab where a customer can design the image on the tab.  This tab is called a "photo tab".

My P-Stamp List has all the Australian P-stamps.  If you know of any not on the list, please let me know.

Since 2005 most P-Stamps have been semi-imperforate self-adhesive stamps with an integrated tab on the righthand side.  The tab is rectangular in "portrait" layout and its right side is imperforate.  In March 2006 a special P-Stamp was issued with a square photo tab.  On some P-Stamps there are printed simulated perforations on the right side of the stamp image.

Sometimes collectors (who do not collect stamps with tabs) remove the tab to create a "collectable stamp".  These are not valid for postage.  See Collectable Stamps

From 2005 to 2010 I designed special tabs for P-Stamps and these have become popular with collectors.  P-Stamps are printed in sheets of 20 and cost about 3 times face value.  I also have available some surplus P-Stamps on my P-Stamps For Sale list.
